Sectioning off my broody. She keeps going off her nest only to return to another where the is maybe 1 fresh egg. I move her eggs back under her once a day (used to be once every few days) sometimes they are cold, sometimes another chicken sits on them. I wonder if they are still viable. They are (or were?) developing as I found out with the great egg drop of #4...

I tried putting my dogs x-pen into the coop yesterday only to realize it would never fit or do what I want it to do. So today I shall attempt the cardboard route....

all of my chicks hatched !!!!! AND I have a rainbow bunch a blue/silver one a black one a yellow one with a skunk stripe, a orangy yellow one and the last one a choclate yelly one!!

BC, maybe I said this already... But you might be able to get your booty and stay put if you put food and water as close as possible if not right in the nest box with her
