OMG... I want 'em!!!

Ducks aren't too bad.... If you like mud, hate grass, enjoy sticky duck pools. Think dabble holes are Charming, can handle odd animal bits and enjoy very random loud noises... I love my ducks! One of the 9 eggs fizzled out today... So 8 still going, can't wait for the ducklings to hatch.

I don't mind... JIM does, lol... the duck eggs in the bator for my friend I think are maybe ok, looks like they kept getting rolled back to the same sides, tho...

hey, don't mention all that! I'm trying to enable more people to get ducks!

I loved my ducks, would like to get some again. They are only messy and stinky like PIGS when they are young in the house. Think I'm going to try pure Mallards next time, hopefully a little more predator wary.

I had mallards, khaki cambell and pekins before we moved, did great grew great, tons of eggs and meat. No coop for them they just did their ducky thing.Lived on top of a mountain and my inlaws let their beagle run loose all the time probably helped with the predators. When we moved a mile down the road we lost them one by one, the ones that started sitting on eggs disappeared first until their numbers dwindled and we gave what few we had left away. They were cool as crap though. Miss them, same as I miss my guineas.

I put balut up thee with rocky mountain oysters as foods ill never try, though some day I will try sea urchin roe, uni someday even if I have to swim out in a ocean and get it myself! Best burgers I've ever had were duck burgers I ground myself. Duck and goose are similar to beef in flavor so I had to try it, awesome! I know a guy who makes excellent wild goose jerky, gotta try it with duck if I ever have them again.
