Brinsea's have temp zones, ( or so I've read ) optimal temperature is held at a steady rate right under the fan in the middle, and it just goes down a little bit in as you get closer to the outside edge.

the 20 egg one has more variability than the 40 egg one... I have the 40 egg one, and it has 4 fans in it.

I can't imagine there being much temp variability.

No I guess not with 4 fans. The 20 should have 2.

Well these are a silkies feet apparently, Bella's feet look like these with out the feathers. She's probably got some silkie in her, she has a small tuff of feathers on her head also... Crest! there's the term...

When tractor supply gets mixed bantam chicks it's easy to pick out silkies with their fifth toe.

Bella is a silkie mix, hennible. It looks like she may of hatched from something else that was a silkie mix itself. Generally the first crossings have pretty good size crest. The black skin and 5 toes is very dominant.
