Cold here too. Had two frozen and cracked eggs this morn. One of them was laid out in the run? Never had them do that, maybe my other brownleghorn is laying. I had a bag with a few cheap talapia filets, I can't remember how old they were so I scrambled the eggs and fish and the chickens had a gourmet breakfast.
Vehve that sounds like my BBQ sauce recipe, love the brown sugar, I've never made it with whiskey though, I'm gonna have to try it. I like to take a London broil and soak it in brown sugar BBQ sauce for a couple days, then low and slow grill it until done. Only time I like a steak done. Cut it in strips ona 45 about a 1/8inch thick, mmm so good.

I hard boiled 2 dozen eggs and pickled them last night.

I have 2 eggs at the moment!

Beer, chicken is great with that, then I usually marinate it in the sauce for a while, and then grill them. But what it's best for is ribs. I like to start with raw (room temperature) whole racks of ribs, and then I put them on the grill on indirect heat and start glazing them with the sauce, turning them every time the sauce on top has dried enough to stay on the meat and not fall off, so about every 3-4 minutes. After about 30-40 minutes, they're done. Delicious.

BC, I'm still not sure if I want to try pickled eggs. I don't really like anything pickled, so the thought of pickled eggs scares me.

ok whew omgosh first time I've slept decent in the last few days, being awake for them hatching and everything.......and apparently going back into the mound of blankies did the trick things warmed up around here...morning @idiotswife @vehve
