My mom believes in ghosts, I don't like hearing her long dragged out stories about her ghosts, I think she's nuts, Lol.
I did get freaked out a few years ago. I was putting wood in our outside wood boiler at around midnight. Clear sky, full moon, snow on the ground, quite and no wind. I had that feeling like someone or something was watching me, turned around and a poof of snow about ten feet high was slowly gliding up our driveway and into the field behind our house, there was no wind! Hair stood up on the back of my neck and I couldn't get back in the house fast enough. I'm sure there is a reasonable scientific explanation for it but it sure did freak me out, Lol!

When the girls dad was in the Air Force and stationed at Wright - Patterson AFB in Dayton OH, Area 51 was a big deal then. One night while he was on base for a 2 week manuvers thing, I was taking the trash out and saw multiple lights in the night sky that were moving slow and fading in and out and then disappear only to show up somewhere else across the sky. I went down and got a neighbor who was also in the AF and asked him what the heck was going on. He didn't know but definitly saw them too. Actually a whole lot of people saw them and reported them on the news. There were reports of Area 51 stuff being brought to Wright-Patt. A lot of people figured Alien UFOs. I figure they were AF UFOs. But they were disconcerting in that the though that the military would mess with civilian minds like that.

Just got back from collecting eggs. They laid 10 so far. Dang it's cold. 0 in coop humidity is lower now girls are still happy. It might be 2 outside, maybe but the storm is coming. High winds and snow. Ugh. Guess I better schlep my behind to the grocery store before roads get too bad.

my brahma hens are only laying 1 or 2 eggs a day, if that.....What am I doing wrong? They used to lay 1 a day, at least, each hen. I have 6 hens.

Kris, how long days do you have at the moment? Are they getting any additional light? It's good for them to rest a bit too though, but if you want to keep up the production (and burn out the birds quicker) you should keep them on 14h days.

I gotta kick start some of my pullets too.. they are 7 months old now. I get anywhere from 1-4 eggs a day.. out of 5 that have started (so that includes broody).

Mine have a red light on 24/7 and a white light, I think for a total of 15 hrs a day. Days are starting to get longer!

BTW mine came from Meyer Hatchery except for 2 of the older ones. tnt's came from Privett. 

try googling images of the band names individually and t-shirt. Like  "metallica t shirts" and hit the images botton . It came up with only the t shirt images.  I saw a few that may have been close but 

I'm looking, found one... But not sure that the bands old enough for AL...

I've got veiled light stories too, but they don't make good stories so to speak... I think all things are explainable, just maybe not all things are explainable yet or now... Science needs to catch up... Not that means that I think science is always right...

Could be a light could be there getting ready to moult if they haven't already... If not those reasons then I think we start getting into diet...
