Dixie Chicks

I've gotta admit that I love me my Krusteaz pancake mix. It is so nice when you've got "starving" kids that want to eat now. And it doesn't taste like plastic like Bisquick does. Gosh that stuff is gross. But we started making crepes here a couple years ago in the morning. They go pretty fast and the kids love them with whipped cream and wild berries (late summer) cinnamon and sugar...or yogurt instead of the cream. Wowsers.
oh yum, I'm on my way over!!!

I have corn meal mush for breakfast once every couple months and save some for frying the next day. Love fried scrapple for breakfast also MMM good.
Vehve, I've used dark belgian candi syrup in a dark strong belgian ale I made once. Stouts use roasted barley to give it their dark color, and bitter flavor. Dark belgian candi syrup has more flavor but not as much as molasses and wont give the dark belgian ale that stout bitterness or dryness like roasted barley and black patent malt. I made a 'small beer' recipe from Goerge Washingtons diary, he made 200 gallons of it a month. No barley malt at all, just molasses water and hops. It was only 2% abv and almost undrinkable it was so bitter. I do love molasses cookies and on my cornbread pancakes.

yea! dumb idea...lol
well not with a cast iron pan lid.. least thats how i did mine over camp fire... less oil ..lightly breaded chicken... deboned is better easier/faster to cook..and you gotta do it more over burning wood coals then open flame...lid keeps it from splattering everywhere n feeding flames n helps steamish cook the chicken in the oil.. but ya it takes some finessing lol but could cook just bout anything over fire except I dont like doing breads n stuff

ohmygosh y'all are killing me.. I am gonna be making breakfast this morning lol.. I opted for a lunch/dinner after my doctors appointment yesterday and didnt have anything for dinner except an apple lol
