My plan too sir, say the word and I'll send you some seeds.
That might get me in trouble Lol! We'd have to figure out how to get them past customs so they don't get all mixed up like bamadudes was Lol!
Quote: Yes it is possible do it after the wall construction Then cut ply wood the right size and screw it right to the panels in the inside.... Self drilling Sheet metal screws with a washer. Then on the outside youcould put on a thin layer of insulation and a layer of external grade siding on the outside.... Again screwed right to the kennel panels. I have considered this.
But they really dont need it... Talk to alaskan.... just the wood on the outside would be sufficient. Just leave a hole to insert the bolt for the panel clamp.
This construction has its limitations... While its very sturdy I will be building joistst to put a roof on once a roof is on the whole thing HAS to be fastened to the ground with sturdy anchors.... I plan on doing that during the build.
For what its worth I plan on a full wall along the chicken feed work space wall. thatis where the revailing wind comes from .... Then half or quarter walls around the rest..... Above the walls the chainlink will be replaced by aviary wire. I can do chainlink and chicken wire on the inside. So the chainlink will be left on the partition walls... with baby chick wire between if necessary.
I get the dog kennel panels at Home depot.... They come either with a door or plain. and are a pretty good price for a project like this.
I started with just four for dog containment. and over the years have acumulated more.... to the point where I have over three hundred linear feet of the stuff. Some in excellent repair some in not so excellent repair.... Goat damage. The not so good ones will get the chainlink stripped and replaced with the half wall of plywood. and the other half with Aviary wire. The half walls will allow for pop doors and sight prevention by feral dogs or coyotes.
STill a concept in process.

Its similar in some ways to AutoCad Mechanical Desk Top... but a much much higher end software. Three D parametric solid modeling..... I can take an animate if I need to illustrate if necessary... and spin it on three axes to get a good look at an odd point.
Also you dont see this but each nut and bolt and clamp are assembled as individual solid models... I can place them any where I need them... So what you are seeing are Four or five individual models put together as if you were actually building the coop. Then it has tools that will allow you to cut away on an assembly to see a more complex interiro design.
All of the model can be viewed through an Autocad like interface which will allow you to dimension either automatically from the components or dimension the whole structure including angles and material collouts.
Parametric means if you change one of the four components it will change for ALL of the existing components in the model. So IF i decided to go with a longer or shorter panel ALL of the panels in the whole Assembly model will change as well.
Then follow through to the Drawing where the dimensions are and suddenly all the dimensions follow suit.
Theroetically.... But there are some limitations and failures.... easy to fix as you spot them.
I havent the software any more Changed computers so the pictures you are seeing are Corel Draw modifications of my existing desing.
frustrating to say the least.
got to go cook dinner now.
