I'm good. Just getting tired of winter already. LOL

Well, the nap didn't work for me either.....I went out to check for eggs & let the girls out to free range and

WE GOT 38 EGGS TODAY!!!!!
That's a record for us!
7 of them are GREEN!!!

We have 40 hens. They must've had some sort of meeting or heard me talking about butcher day (for the roos). But after getting all excited about the eggs, I couldn't find our little dog! So, I walked (quickly) down the street both ways yelling my head off for him. No doggie

. After about 1/2 hour of walking back and forth and screaming my head off, I went back to the coop. Poor doggie was standing right by the coop with mud caked 1/2 way up his legs. He had went into the coop looking for me & it's impossible to hear anything back there over all the chickens. But I am SO glad he is OK

so jealous but I probably shouldn't be cuz I'm sitting here with 13 dz on my counter right now.

My buyers are slowing down. I need an egg craving spell for my neighbors.

@JW12, sorry I can't take anymore Roos either... Jim loves his Lav Orp and already had to build another pen just to keep him, lol... will you be breeding them at all? I'd be willing to do a road trip to trade eggs(when they all are laying, lol)??

I hear ya @tntchix I am absolutely ready for summer .. it's a gorgious day out mid fiftys and I just know it wont last lol........ it's a big ole tease but least it isnt the artic weather @BriardChickens has brrrr.. I think @Alaskan fed jack frost to the chickens

I think we hit 30 today but it snowed all day and not much to show for it. Roads are mostly clear, won't be tonight though.

I just need the sun. My daylight lamp isn't even doing it these days.
