Beer, yeah, that's what it's mostly called in the States. I think that's actually something that Finland is a market leader of in the States, if you can find a 9 months aged emmental made by Finlandia, that should be the same cheese that's sold as Valio's Mustaleima here in Finland. That's my favorite cheese for sandwiches.

We are having sausage patties, wheat toast w/butter & over easy eggs.

It's 7:10am here. I am going to start cooking now & they will smell it and wake up! (or the smoke alarms will go off!) Just kidding. Only happened a couple times.

Our firealarm in the kitchen is installed in the most stupid location ever, it's right in front of the oven, and it's a pretty good model, so it reacts to heat, smoke and other compounds. So every time I'm cooking something in a really hot oven, or I've got the fan in the oven on, or I've used the grill function of it to burn a bit of a surface on something, the fire alarm goes off. Super annoying.

Speaking of alarms.............my old neighbor raises rabbits (pet rabbits), rats, mice, guinea pigs, cats & dogs. All kept in her house....To each their own. Anyways, the family was out for the day, when they came back that night all the rats, mice, guinea pigs were dead. The rabbits, dogs, and cats were sick and lethargic. Turned out to be Carbon monoxide. Make sure you all have a carbon monoxide detector!

Ours was in the kitchen right next to the stove too. UGH! When I painted the laundry room the other day, I put it in there. Kitchen leads straight into laundry room. Just the smoke detector is not on top of the stove now.

We have a smoke detector in between the kitchen and dining room. When it goes off I holer "honey, dinners done" , she doesn't find any humor in it Lol.
We have a carbon monoxide detector, our reality instaled it before we closed on our house, I think it is a law in the US now, or maybe just in NY State.

Should be law everywhere. They make combos with the carbon monoxide and smoke detector together. Little girl is up telling me about her dream of going to Walmart's. I need more coffee.

What was I thinking? Starting breakfast and waking everyone up? What is wrong with me?

Too late. But I have been up alone for 4 hours. Now I have stinky feet following me around. How does her feet stink so bad? She's just like her father!
