Hurray for Humpday....

Another busted water pipe in the middle of the night! Yikes. We think it's same one as last year. So, water is shut off and I have dug out all the prepped stuff for this special occasion. 5 gallon bucket full of water to flush the toilet, mason jar filled with water for teeth brushing, 2 liter bottles filled with water for hand washing, coffee making, cooking. Hand sanitzer, and dry shampoo. Last year, it was out a week

. But our electric was out as well. Our yard is FLOODED. I happened to hear it when I was taking clothes out of the dryer. Spewing out from under the house

I think I got an hour of sleep. Not uninterrupted though. Going to be a long day at work. Well, I gotta get some coffee cooking or I won't make it thru the day, Have a good one

what kind of new birds did you get @Aliciahess ? @Double Kindness how are the eggs doing any new pips? thanks @NotAFarm sometimes it surprises me how much work has actually been done around here but the vision in my head is slowly coming together... kinda weird how the fence makes me feel a lil more secure

I am more then ready for warm weather! it will be interesting to see what the new house is like during the summer I think it should be fairly comfy we moved in just at the endish of summer and it was nice n cool still so I dont perdict a sweathouse lol...the cinderblock seems to insulate fairly well

On a good note I started collecting duck eggs from my ancona pens today, no guarantee they're pure but Josh wants ducks to raise for meat so these will be ok if they're mixed.

Jem, I don't do hot chocolate that often... usually only when skiing. Coffee and tea have been consumed in large amounts today though. Hope your pain is fading away already.
