Dixie Chicks

Nothing defrosted and only hotdogs in the refrigerator here.  Think that we will go to Chili's.

Hotdogs wrap with thick cut bacon, tooth pick on each end, skewer through dog, suspended on beer cans half filled with water, on the grill.
Cook on low until bacon cinches tight to the dog, mmm goood!
 
Good morning everyone! It's a heat wave at 22°F! Maybe some of this white crud will melt later once the sun gets out.

My ducks are crossing their legs and a few of the chickens are too @Outpost JWB !
LOL! We tried to let the girls "free range" today....otherwise known as eat snow, and they all ran out of the coop, then ran right back in!

Bunnies look like they are doing fine. Just a ball of fur and little kicks here and there. So cute.
 
Beer, do you fry it with oil or butter? I actually prefer canola oil nowadays, and it isn't nearly as smoky with that.

Oil with super hot pan. I just like em slightly burnt, especially the fat, and I like them bloody but not rare. If you cook the middle rare like I like, there is no carmelization, and the fat is gross if you don't use high heat. Outside and fat done, middle bloody, I do the same on the grill. Wife and kids like theirs well done, blah!
 
Supposedly (and I believe it does, but don't care) those lovely little chard bits that are so tasty are carcinogenic, if you want to reduce the carcinogen load, get this, supposedly marinating your meat in beer before cooking reduces this...
