Yum! I just made old-fashioned oatmeal with milk, and generously sprinkled in dried goji berries for the chickens. It is so good, I am having a bowl myself while I wait for it to cool to the point I can feed to chickens (who are huddled on my patio to shelter from the cold rain.)

The goji berries came from nuts.com , and I have found their products fresh and yummy so far.

Finally called SandHill. She said the only notes her husband wrote on my order form was that early hatches were sparse because of cold weather and had me down for May 5 hatch date, no mention of the blue langshans being unavailable. YEAH! WOOHOO!

Oh, I forgot to say, in addition to Hilma having a tryst today, we also popped 7 eggs under Emma. So we might be getting chicks around April 1st, and baby bunnies on April 10th, my birthday.

Just got a text from DH asking for help and advice for writing a letter to his company...this can't be good...
