the black puller in my avatar, yeah she's over 8 months and still isn't laying. She is starting to redden and grow tiny wattles, so maybe soon. Her sisters that were older were laying by 6 months.

This is the one I'm waiting on... Storm hatched Oct 5th, and she is my best Araucana... and most fave... she's been lurking in the nest box for 2 months now... even worse, her cousin's pullet egg just hatched in the bator, lol...

@Beer canis there maybe a certain rooster or chicken she doesn't like picking on her? My ohiki quit laying and I figured out it was the 2 roosters fighting almost constantly that caused it. I took the one out and less than a
week later, I got eggs.

Oh, I didn't think of that either... hmmm, time to move Storm I think...

surprisingly they all get along fine, and I only have one roo and he is super nice, there isn't a broken feather on any of them, and I know he mounts them. Never see any of them get picked on, the only one that did was the polish and since this winter of being cooped up they don't bother her at all. I guess I'm just going to have to pull her aside everyday and tell her if she doesn't start giving us some eggs 'Off with your Head!'

I think Wilma is about to resume laying soon, we saw Eemeli mount her the other day. This single layer business is super annoying.

That support thing is about 26" tall. And the tallest tomatoes are towering above it already...

Jem, I want them to grow long, but I'd want them to do that outside. My problem is that the night time lows are in the 40's, so it's still too cold for them outside...
