Fire is still out of control but they did handle the southern border today.

In good news, my pip from last week just made it out. Helped it a little as it seemed to be getting wrapped into the membrane (at 80% humidity) today.
In comparison, the first 4 ducks are huge, they grew fast!

yay, so 5 duckies now?!

Those fires are crazy.

Sam and Bambam, how are your peppers doing? I've got my two first Apache peppers growing, they're already almost an inch tall. And loads of blooms in all of them, the other varieties are starting to bloom too.

Pretty darn good. Here's a black jalapeño.

Yepp, 5 ancona's now!! While it did hatch from one of the smaller eggs, it looks tiny compared to the other 4 that are now almost a week old. It also has the proper markings. It'll be either another tri or chocolate.

It's now time they go outside within the next few days. They are messy in their box!

Well, the fire is still out of control. Most of the oil companies have shut down production. Some of them just shut down due to poor air quality. While the wind is low, the fire is creating it's own winds/weather so it's feeding itself at this point.
Quite smoky here today, you can taste it in the air
