As to feathered legs. I've noticed if you have a bird that has even a hint of feathers they cam throw heavily feathered leg babies. It's very hard to breed out of anything. I kept getting a few short feathers on the Ohiki babies and upon closer inspecition, one rooster had 3 feathers on each leg. So short and tiny they were almost completely hidden by the scales on the leg. While he's still worth breeding, I removed him for now to make sure he's the issue.

So the one in my hand could be BBR as well?? It's a different one from the 3, and seems to look similar to the darker wildtype in the trio...
