I really appreciate that.  My flock is very very hot.  I'm dragging frozen soda bottles out there and running the hose.  I even sit out there with them so they will see I'm suffering along with them, LOL

How are you dealing with the heat?

how hot has it been there?

I hadn't done the frozen soda bottles yet this year but I've got fans running in the brooder room and in the poultry barn. @RavynFallen, has it been as hot there ad it has here?

about the same here. We got some relief today at 84 but humidity was through the roof.
My poor horses are miserable, especially the 2 black ones.

Sorry 'bout the heat it's bad here too... I really don't do well in heat... red hair and fair skin is bad mix for too much sun, blech... love the frozen soda bottle idea though, may do that soon...

Yeah, mini, it's friggin' blisterin' here... last 2 weeks been in mid 90's and our heat index keeps topping 100... :/

I gotta Jet black horse that loves the shade structure I had built. she also loves the hose squirted at her.... she will come and turn and turrn and turn.... then go roll in the dirt... she comes up looking like a chocolate cookie. and heaves a bit sigh of reilef. The dirt coating is a good bug deterent....
