Dixie Chicks

Jem, it's fun, and keeping me busy. I really like it. Also, I'm starting to get pretty good at Angry Birds Fight.

The game?
I was just playing Angry Birds Seasons( at work also lol), there is a board Finland themed, every level you beat it gives you cool Fin facts lol.

Yay for new projects and new layers. I wouldn't mind another hen that lays colored eggs.

Yay for lots of eggs. Mine I think are still under stress from the fox. 6 hens give me at most 4 eggs. :( Never had a day where all my hens have laid.

Since the heat index tops 100 every day for last 3 weeks, my egg count lowered... then half the girls dropped shelless eggs the night of massacre... very few eggs this week... so a new layer was BIG surprise, lol...

I wonder how our chickens would react to a visit from a fox. It couldn't get into the run, but it might make some noise. I think the chickens wouldn't be too worried though, they're pretty used to our dogs. The bunnies actually come up to the net and say hi to the dogs.
My chickens are somewhat used to the dog. However the fox got 2 ducks so far, the second one actually was in their run.... The chickens were locked in the coop so would have heard the night time fuss.

So cool!!

My EE, she lays a blue-ish/ green egg. Picture taken last fall. She's mean when she's in the box, freaks right out and is the most flighty, but considering her small size, right now she's in the 52-54g. Lays 5 out of 7 days a week.
