I really like Texas..... Being here for 10 days or whatever it has been/will be.... Makes me really want to move back here......


I love that west Texas photo.... But yeah... A bit dry... Need to make sure you have a good well.

she is my friendliest chicken she comes up for pets and cuddles....everyone else I got to hunt down she comes over for them...she is also the one who likes to fly up on my shoulder every now n then if I ignore her lol... she was a bit of a loner for awhile but she has found her place in the pecking order and settled into the flock and not isolating like she was for a bit...she is probly mid way in the pecking order now holds her own....she was after the babys for a bit but that was just when they were first introduced...she definitely got their respect lol........and holding her own with the others now so I'd say good even tempered chicken :) she lays kinda an orangeish brown egg and has been good layer everyday with a day of rest maybe every five six days
