Minihorse, that's quite a poofy hen!  

it's my black orpingtom bantam pullet. She was about 5 months old in that pic. She'll get poofier as she ages.

Sounds like my boys! I went to take new pics today and they ran up to me all proud and mud splattered from head to webs... they found the mud pit the rains made last couple days... :/

You also us them raw in hollandaise. Well... Actually, I think you heat up the yellow a bit... But whatever... All good.

Only problem with the awesome vacation is i got one patch of super itchy bites on my lower leg. don't know what got me. Doesn't look like chiggers... Sure does itch like crazy


Oh... Other problem is it made me more ticked that I live in Alaska Blah

Dang... Kid says maybe it is chiggers. (But it is an idiot boy, who has never seen a chigger in his life.... But it is odd that they still itch) .... Not sure if there is any nail polish in the house... So what do I use?

Brats... at least they love to get clean, they are all over me when I dump their pool, lol...

@Alaskan sorry for the bites, we don't have mosquito issues anymore but tiny, itty, bitty biting gnats that are worse... sorry, you still live in Alaska... :/

Got any of that Nuskin stuff? Maybe dabs of superglue, just wet it immediately and it'll peel off later...

That should work... anything that seals the holes and suffocates them...

Huh... just thought about it, but maybe even Elmer's glue? Takes longer to dry, but in a pinch it should work too...

Interesting My mare had Ticks in her ears.... we found em on a checkup.... and were not talking one or two each ear had a whole colony.... The vet gave me a creamy liquid to pour on cotton and swipe around in her ears. Course I got lots of ticks out that way and she LOVED it. But I noticed the liquid dried like a shellack.... So I figured it was to smother the ticks.

When I ran out I switched to baby oil.... Worked great...

It took me a year to get her ears clear....
