It is 2 heads!  It has 2 fully formed top beaks and both beaks have 2 nostrils.  The bottom has a small extra bit that looks like the bottoms fused.  I cracked the egg and was like, no way!

I'm just super happy it didn't hatch (but did fully form and absorbed 95% of the yolk). I'd of freaked if I seen that running around in the incubator.

I vote you grow them out and see what you get.  Build your bridge, then you paint it.

That is why I was asking if you all thought I should just pick the one with best conformation.... And ignore color.

Except for the blue one, and one black that I forgot to label they are all from my stock, and I already culled for vigour, size and perfect feet.

My Marans have great color eggs..... But the Marans breeders keep knocking them because their color is so off (too black, I don't think they have any wheaten in them). And their lack of feathering on the feet, but I am NOT fixing that, I hate feathered feet, and my last rooster had too upright of a tail.... That was annoying.. But is what I had picked out as the cock.... I only had three to choose from....

Maybe I should pretend that they are blacks.... Only one of my hens has too narrow hips, I think the rest have good shape. Of course, the problem is that they would also fail color wise if I called them "Black" .... Except for one hen.....i think..... Humm.... Maybe I should go look... Trying to breed out the copper might be easier than breeding it in.

I guess it ticks me off that they never complement my Marans on what they DO have... I think that it looks like they have the perfect color feet, and they have no comb sprigs (but someone said that one comb was too meaty? I looked it over closely, and compared it to my leghorns... I don't see it), they have good conformation, a few have very good conformation, their black is a true black, no wheaten. Their eggs are very dark.

Well anyway...

Looks like my first Cayuga hatch died just days before the hatch. No movement and everyone still had their yolk. What happened? I put them back into the incubator. I feel like that blind kid in the movie "dumb and dumber" petting the dead bird...

@Alaskan you might just need to built a rooster grow out pen.As long as there are no pullets, no fights. or so i hear.
