Dixie Chicks

It's so dang hot here. On a good note I got all the Ancona juveniles moved. They are now outside in a bigger pen with 24 hours access to a pool. They made a mud pit, dirtier the pool to a lovely brown, and are looking like drowned rats now.

I haven't a clue on that one. Maybe let it dry some more and get more pics?

Will do... dad looks birchen (kinda) and mom is either the black with white/silver or white... oh, and these are my lf's and breeder mixed colors, lots of Lavender carriers are possible...

Hope you're feeling better now? Heat is horrible... our drakes found the spot under our deck steps... made a huge mud wallow... :/

I feel a lot better but the heat still makes me sick just to go out and feed everyone. I tried to herd the ducks and that didn't work but for a few of them. The rest I had to pack by hand 2 and 3 at a time and I moved 50+ ducks. I have a headache and a mildly upset stomach tonight. I also got shocked by the metal on my horse barn. Had to kick the breaker that runs the electric down there cause I don't know what's electrifying the metal. I think the wiring for a security light has gotten bumped and the wiring is exposed and against the barn now.

Ugh... take it as easy as you can, I know that lingering fatigue feeling well... too easy to get heat exhaustion or heat stroke again...
I hate messing with electricity, just be careful... :hugs
