I really enjoyed this post.  Sounds like me with all the antique glass and dinnerware that you save "for good" but for good never comes and when it does it's usually a barbque.  So I unloaded a bunch of dinner sets and now just have 2 sets of melamine which have nice bright designs.  My goodly dishes will be unloaded on my daughter.  Her turn to babysit all that glass.

A few years ago someone spotted this bowl my hen was eating out of as from an expensive set of dishes that my aunt had given me, and this member said she remembered her parents drove 8 hours to Canada to buy that same design set called Acapulco by someone and Fitz. 

Fitz and Floyd? Oh I use that for everyday fruit bowls, Flowers, cakes, what was I saving it for? To use in retirement. Babysit the glasseware? Yup I know that one, i will gladly pass that crap, I mean good stuff on to some one else and they can be burdeoned with it I mean treasure it.

It's pouring rain again, like every day for the past 2 weeks. My chickens look like drowned rats.

Yeah! My "early retirement" came through. I didn't think it would. But I am free from working, thank God because I wasn't doing so well in the job subject. Years of meds has fried my brain . It's almost like having ADD and anxiety and a learning disability at the same time.

Time for a glass of Marsala tonight. Yum!

Yea, you me and Beer can have that spelling bug. Believe or not there's some new bug this morning. The first word I type is typing backwards. I thought it wasme. It's not. Can't figure it out.

I guess I'm not understanding what you're paying for? 

Got an ad for Windows 10 for Free.
Then in a year they will contact all thise that accepted the offer of FREE and charge them, if they say no the windows 10 be disabled. Problem the killing of windows 10 will damage every program in computer because when windows 10 gets installed it embeds itself everywhere. Dont pay to keep it past the first year.... Trouble.beware of anything over a comouter for free!

Dh took the first dozen quail eggs to work today, he was just about to take a second dozen too but stopped him as I want to make some quail eggs when mom and dad get here next Tuesday. DH said "the more I sell, the less you can incubate"

lmao! My fiance said the same about chicken eggs! The only problem is I hid the ones I wanted to incubate!

@minihorse927 that's what I'll have to start (hide eggs I want to incubate).. although funny enough, last night he suggested I incubate the tiny (pinky finger nail sized) quail egg "just to see". He almost looked disappointed when I said "it probably doesn't have a yolk, I was gonna fry it, just to see what's inside"

In other good news, my EE has 100% fertility. I set 7 (green) eggs, collected over 9 days. I candled early, only 3 days in and it's looking good!

However, I may end up having to sell those when they hatch.

I let mama hen and her two chicks outside and on dirt for the first time today. I have not succeeded in trapping the possum yet, so I will have to "bring them in" from the netted "pool surround" grow out pen...and in the cat carrier....hmmm...this is going to get old really quick!
