For me, fishing falls in the same category as bird watching. I just don't get it. Too slow paced. Even though hunting is pretty similar, I still find it a lot more interesting.

Yeah, I think a part of it is that the fish you can catch here are pretty different from yours. Biggest thing I've caught was a three pound pike.

Add beer and it becomes a relaxing fun time, and much cheaper than buying frozen Chinese farm fish....

My old net was about ten years plus

I had repaired it a FEW times

Mostly from netting half a dozen HUGE perch at a time

My old net was only 6 foot so I'm stoked!

I'm stoked too that you can use that net this time of year...

This is the USUAL way we fish right about nows...

But it's really quite OK...'cause of the size of the fish we have access to...

​

And the plain fact that many of us Canucks can multi task...even during sporting events, we can pack in quite alot in a single moment, eh.
