Four days in a row with a killer frost...WHITE stuff can stop now...bring on the GREEN, eh...
Robins hatch...
Flowers in the Man Porch blossom...
I still shear my woolled sheep...3 done, one left to go...when it decides to stop raining when I have the time to do so...
Jacobs, the geriatric ones of 13+ years...this is Nascor, first sheep I ever lambed...2003...ah yes, she was a triplette and a mess of legs
She is so use to me shearing she jest lays there and waits on me...
Cause I'm old, slow and careful like...
Still taking time to sit by the waterfall and fish pond and admire the view with moi Hero...
Using the environmentally sound mowers...
Did I mention on here that I got hair sheeps? Gonna have eight ewes (two are Katahdin/Dorper, rest are pure Dorpers)
gonna pick up my registered ram in a bit...
Always wanted Dorpers...
Yeh, MORE work to have the sheep mow...
Gotta protect things like this...
Shade bed in front of the Doggone Dog Kennel protected
But hey, with a view like this to enjoy...totally worth the efforts, eh!
Kick back in the sandals, sipping a java and just DUHHHHHHHHHH..........
And laugh...did I mention the value of laughing?
The NEW Hair Sheeps are getting use to the place here...and all the critters here are getting use to them. Sorta a give and take thingy.
Lacy kissing Ditto...
Emmy smelling D'Arcy...
"You smell like the chops Mom puts in my kibs..."
D'Arcy getting use to the various birds she mows around...note the turkey hen stinky eyes...
"She's OUT! What about us next...HUH?"
And jest so you don't think I lay about all day, in the lawn chair eating bon bons...
Yesterday after a whirlwind of activities (weeded and watered the beans, hacked out some wind brought thistle, doing things that slip by like clipping dog toenails...does it ever cease?)...decided to till under some noxious weeds...I planted oats on the other side and they're up...potatoes are up too...herb bed is doing tres fab...yeh...strawberries I planted are getting ready to fruit up.
Got sixty tomats in the Greenhouse potted up and another forty or so to go...
When the clouds go black, good time to transplant...
Wee hee hee...what fun, eh.
