On warm it reads 85 f so I’m going to put it on medium and make 2 different heights of the cave for them
on low it reads 90-92 f

Perfect, thank you. They have enough space to move out of the light, and since I wake every couple hours anyways I will keep checking the temps. Really appreciate your time, this can be quite nerve wracking for a newbie.
Half the tote is a heat mat and the other half is openSounds like Low is the right setting for week-old chicks. No hotter. Whether for a few hours or more. Make sure they can escape the heat.
