thats the feeder i made one rainy day... I looked out back and seen a piece of plywood and some 2x4's and thought i should pick them up... On my way out i grabbed my saw and just did it... No tape measure, no pencil... Just a man and a saw... I cut the plywood to a good looking width... Then i cut that in half just off center to make the back piece longer than the front piece... I cut 2 pieces of 2x4 to roughly the same length as the back piece of plywood and screwed em all together... Used some scrap pieces of plywood to make the tray and an angled piece inside to keep the food going toward the tray... Its not as flashy as some, but it holds 15 gallons of food and is 36" long so we dont get any overcrowding with our small flock... We feed a mix of random grains and such and threw in sunflowers making them scrape food out to get to the sunflowers... A bit of chicken wire over the tray seems to have put a stop to that... Total cost $0 ... Stuff i had laying around

here's a feeder I made for my chicks as they were growing up. Coffee can for the top and the bottom is from the inside of a plant vase. screwed together from the bottom with drywall screws.
