Do any of you remember " Little House On the Prarie "

I'm saying every year that I am going to take the girls to Mansfield. Haven't done it yet though I have driven past the property. It's actually just a short distance off the highway

Thank you for posting this! I really enjoyed those shows 'back in the day' .... I grew up watching LH, Fury, Bonanza, Big Valley and Rifeman!

Many were repeats but wish they had stories on today that dealt with the issues the way those shows always seemed to. Many a lesson to be learned from them. Though as said, real livestock facts weren't one of them!

A squealing pig??? OMG! I never caught that one but I would love to hear it!

Again, thanks for bringing back some nice warm memories on a cold day.

I always loved the mountains in the background and walking to church on Thanksgiving in shirtsleeves. They lived mainly in Minnesota and South Dakota, pretty far from both shirtsleeves in Nov. and mountains.

I wasn't the only highschooler that thought she was a babe.

Yep she had those mesmerizing sky blue eyes. One memory from the show was a scene on there once that had a jet plane's vapor trail in the skyline, oops, someone missed it in the editing, but all in all I still will watch a show every now and again even though I've seen most a few times. I love those old shows like that. I sometimes think I was born a century TOO late. LOL

It still drives me nuts when there are horses on TV shows and they CONSTANTLY make noises. I've had horses all my life and I bet that all the vocalizations they've made in all these years don't add up to the horse chatter during a single TV day
Maybe mine are just real introverts ...

Kind of like tires squealing on dirt roads.

For years I've figured that the folks who "write" that sort of thing must have only been in the barn at feeding time.

Though my mini-mule, now - she is a "talker".
