Do chickens stop laying in the heat?

I have had my 3 hens, 1 rooster since Dec. Came from San Diego, Ca. to Kingman AZ. Now its 95 degrees here and they quit laying, well, 2 eggs in 2 weeks! I put in another window, put in a fan, went to crocks of water along with their self-waterer (4 gal bucket with chicken nipples). They have lots of shade too. Still no eggs except those 2. I think they are just not happy in this heat. They sure loved the snow in Janurary though.

i got 6 hens , 1 rooster, i live in mexico barra de navidad, look it up on a map on the coast half way down the coast, any way my chickens were stolen so i got 6 new ones, but they will not sit in the nest provided, the last batch performed really good this batch nothing, does a hen have to settle in before laying eggs?
