Do Chicks Usually Lay on Their Sides?

I have a question I have 30 chicks and some of them lay down and spin there feet is this normal or is something wrong ?

I've had one chick do this, my youngest now Beatrice. I was terrified because I thought she was dead or sick, I've grown very attached to her in the past few weeks. It's normal to do this, they're just resting.

Yes they do when they take sandbath.

I got on here just to look for this information. I was just panicking that something must be wrong with two of my chicks. Laying on their sides, legs all stretched out. Freaked me out!!

My darling Betty. She's always snoozing on her side. She does it mostly on the kitchen tile where it's cool or right in her favourite patch of sunlight.
