Well, my partridge cochins aren't old enough to be laying eggs yet BUT I got some Lemon Cochin hatching eggs recently and they were HUGE. 60 grams each!

Exhibtion quality Cochins are usally poor layer sof medium to small size eggs in comparison to thier size. Poor quality such as the ones you get from a hatchery could lay large or normal size eggs and who knows may have a little Barred Rock in them too. Rocks are bred for egg and meat production and it is very common for them to lay large eggs and not that unusual to get a double yoker every once in a while. I would vote Barred Rock.
