Hi Backyard Chicken people, i usually leave my eggs outside in a bucket so i can do other chores and bring them in later. Will these eggs get botulism from sitting outside hours in hot sun? If so is there any way i can tell? Thanks in advance!

They could possibly spoil out in the hot sun, but botulism is caused by eating the toxin produced by dead animal carcasses or from maggots or rotting vegetation buried under ground or without air.

Thanks for your response, so just to clear things up they do can not get botulism from this?
