It'll take a little time and lots of tasty treats, but they will come around. I have a few rescues too. They aren't quite as friendly as the ones I hatched and raised myself but they are always happy to see me and relatively easy to catch now. Good luck with them! You'll need to get some more hens if you plan to keep all the boys or you'll need to separate the extra boys. If you don't, they'll be pretty rough on her...

I won't be keeping my RIR roosters, even though they're pretty sweet.

I'll keep both the rescued birds, then order a few pullets once spring comes. I wish I knew how old the new chickens are, so I could know if/when to look for eggs. Assuming the one is a hen...
