Yes, we're keeping him. We weren't looking to have a roo, but knew out of 20 chicks we were most likely going to get one. Besides, he a handsome little guy.

He is handsome! He will turn out to be a nice little rooster! I am glad he is nice, mine is SO mean! Maybe it will just take some time, I guess I would be a little cranky if I was being chased around the brooder by a huge hand too!
Here are some more pics I took today. They didnt come out too well because my flash made it too bright, but I will try to take better pics tomorrow. I noticed today that he/she is getting more red around the face...
Hi, here's a pic of my Production Red pullet for comparison....She is 6 weeks old. Yours has a bigger, thicker comb and it's red.....looks like a cockerel.
