Do I have a roo? *NEW PICS!*

Really? I guess you really never know what gender you are getting even if the bin says girls there is always a possibility they could be boys mixed in. Are you keeping red? I really hope mine are all girls. Because I hate to have to get rid of one. But it seems like I have a roo...

Yes, we're keeping him. We weren't looking to have a roo, but knew out of 20 chicks we were most likely going to get one. Besides, he a handsome little guy.

He is handsome! He will turn out to be a nice little rooster! I am glad he is nice, mine is SO mean! Maybe it will just take some time, I guess I would be a little cranky if I was being chased around the brooder by a huge hand too!

Here are some more pics I took today. They didnt come out too well because my flash made it too bright, but I will try to take better pics tomorrow. I noticed today that he/she is getting more red around the face...

See his wattles?!

A wing shot. We cut his wings so thats why the first few feathers are shorter.

EDIT: I forgot to say that he is much thinner and taller then all of the other birds if that makes a difference. Thanks again.

Hi, here's a pic of my Production Red pullet for comparison....She is 6 weeks old. Yours has a bigger, thicker comb and it's red.....looks like a cockerel.

Oh no, does that mean my other production red is a cockeral too?! Below is a picture of my other production red, Sunny.

Her comb is slightly bigger then chickinlickin8's. But is not even close to my other production red.

When will he start to go cocka-doodle-doo? I kind of want to hear him Cocka-doodle-doo before I give him away, just to make sure it is a cockerel.
