Do I need a rooster?

Yes the other ones I researched and agree with you on. The whites have me stumped. And the white ones are so dirty they’re looking brown but they’re plain pure white. Can I bathe them?
I have an Austra white but she’s more of a tan to creme depending on the day. She loves her dirt baths and if I washed her, she’d be just as dirty the next day. 😂😂
 
Responding to the original question, no you don't need a rooster to encourage egg laying. In fact a bad rooster can cause laying to decline, if he's overbreeding or stressing the girls.
Thank you. I just am not inclined to wanting a rooster as I want to just enjoy my girls. I don’t really want to breed. Or to have to check eggs etc and I don’t even know what much even to raise chicks from eggs. I just love the girls

That’s so funny. I love my little flock. They’re so interesting to just sit and watch. I love that they’re being more loving and wanting to be next to me.
