Do I need to let "shipped" eggs settle?

We are going to pick up our hatching eggs in a few days - they are about an hour away so eggs will be gently jostled for about 60 minutes. Obviously this is not like going through the USPS but wondering if it is enough disturbance that I need to let them settle? I believe most people suggest 48 hours for shipped eggs?

Can they go straight to the incubator?

What i do... this may not be best.maybe someone else will have diferent advice..but i let them rest till bedtime ..I make sure egg turner is flat so eggs sit upright.. put eggs in at bedtime. . Leave turner off till morning. . That way eggs start incubating. While resting

Not really. I'd let them set a couple hours and come to room temps, but I'd treat them as local eggs not shipped.
