Do I take the e-g-g-s out of the carton for the last 3 days?

Aren't pullets and roo's hatching and why is it you choose the words rooster shells...?

This keeps the bumping of rooster to a minimum. First 18 days are in rooster cartons. This works good for me as I now have rooster hatching daily

What in the world is a rooster carton??

For some reason the word e g g is being substituted by rooster, must be a A p r i l f o o l s joke or they have virus in the system.

I have 24 3ggs in pulp 3gg cartons incubating right now. I did cut small holes in the bottom on day one so there was plenty of air circulation.

On day 18 I plan to take them out of the cartons and lay them on their sides.

I am primarily doing it that way because I have a Brinsea 20 incubator and it's pretty crowded in there. The 3ggs on their sides and no cartons will give a little more space for chicks that have hatched and I'm in the torturous timeframe known as "DONT OPEN THE INCUBATOR"
