Do lavender Orpingtons have dark spots? Chick is feathering out.

I got this chick from a local breeder and I've seen the parents. Does anyone have a "splash" lavender?

I didn't think so either. I know they also have chocolate Orpingtons but that isn't it either..

Yes, Splash is one of the colours Orpingtons come in. Maybe the breeders had very poor blues?

I almost think I'm seeing Columbian pattern on that chick (black neatly arranged in the wings and tail, not random splashes.) But of course I could be wrong.

They also have Splash Marans BUT this one has no feathered legs. I'm messaging them to find out. She's pretty either way. It's the one I basically nursed back from near death. Do sweet and shy.
