Do mature muscovy drakes always look this gross?

I've been hosing David down whenever I refill the pool and it seems to have helped, he hates it but he refuses to bathe himself haha.

Haha, well that works I guess. He actually looks cleaner than my Edward ever does. I think I'll start spraying Edward too.
