Do older ducks, 18wks, get angel wing

Do older ducks approximately 18 weeks get angel wing? I noticed one of my babies tonight has a few feathers sticking out on each side. I tried to get a picture but duckie was having no part of it. I'll try again tomorrow if it still looks odd.

yes pictures please… she might just be starting to molt?

I agree that it is possible. But, if it seems to have come on suddenly, it is probably just molting, as Jenbirdee suggested. 4 months is about right, especially for drakes.

It’s kind of hard to tell but yes it is sudden and it’s just like a few feathers are sticking out sideways and this is the only one that has it out of 8.

idk if wrapping it will work at 18 weeks? lets see what others suggest

Today only one wing is like this. Just a few feathers sticking out. Yesterday it was both. I'm sorry for the quality of pics but it is the best I could do.

It’s just not easy for me to see. but if the wing is sticking out like a hitch hikers thumb then you have angel wing. Is she molting if she is you can try wrapping so as the wing feathers grow back the wing is being held in normal position.
