Do people always forget your name?

WELL MY NME IS REY. IM LATIN BORN ON THREE KINGS DAY OR DIA DE LOS REYES....SO EVERYONE AND THEIR GRAMMAS..CALL ME ROY, REYNALDO, RAMON, RONALDO, ROGER, AND THEY ALWAYS SPELL IT WRONG. SCHOOLS EVEN THE ARMY AWARDS WHERE SPELLED WRONG. INSTEAD OF REY THEY WROTE RAY. BUT I CANT COMPLAIN WHEN EVEN MY OWN MOM CALLS ME BY MY BROTHERS NAME AND MY BROTHERS BY MINE..LOL OUTA CONTROLL.

My last name is Misner... (its pronounced like MICE-NER)... not Ms. ner or Meyezner

Even my close friends still pronounce my last name wrong.

Its very annoying.

People are ALWAYS getting my name wrong. I'm often confused with other people (even people who don't look like me!) but the most common one is to call me Ellen. My real name is Lauren, but I guess because my last name sounds like "Ellen" people confuse that with my first name.

The worst part is I never correct people when they do that because I don't know how without sounding rude! I usually answer to Lauren OR Ellen. LOL

my name is hannah noelle padgett full name i go by hannah noelle but its not knoll its the exact same as noel and my first name is not honna my last name gets said as pageant its pad jet just faster and spelt differently HANNAH NOELLE PADGETT. lol

I don't have problems with people pronouncing my name wrong... just spelling it. Though sometimes I get called by my daughter’s name, Ashley. My name is Karrie and it has been spelled so many different ways it is hard to remember them all.... Kari, Carrie, Kerry, and so on.

My name is Channing. I get called shannon a lot. or shanning or other weird things. I also went by the nick name ninny for years so i answer to both. I gave up on caring. If their talking to me i anwser. My daughters name is going to be Arianna. Shes not even born yet and no one gets it or how to spell it.

I am always getting called Rhonda instead of Rhoda and my husband is always called Gerald instead of Gerard. Once we were somewhere together and we needed to wait out turns and when we were called it was Gerald and Rhonda. We both looked at each other, started chuckling and went in.
