Do roos die without tail feathers

    Do rosters die without there tail feathers my two roosters just faught and one lost half his tail feather and the rest brocken do roosters molt please help :(

    Yes, Roosters do moult and lose their tail feathers... they do grow back... slowly.

    no they won't die from losing tail feathers. as stated above roosters do molt and shed some tail feathers at time also. I would be cautious of the roos fighting, at times it can become fierce and you may lose one from more traumatic injury or blood loss.. may want to consider separating them! definately keep an eye on the "loser" and check him for other injuries.
