Do these eggs look ok? Kinda concerned about them! First time with call duck hatching eggs!

Another Call duck addict in the making. I love it!

On the candling pics - the last one is what we call saddled. These usually don't cause too much issue, but they can, so just keep a good eye on it. Hopefully the detached part will reattach. The saddled part is just slightly pulled away from the outer shell/membrane, causing it to look bigger than it really is. It happens because of being shaken during shipping. Picture in your head where the actual air cell is, and then where the small gap between the membranes is. I used to draw a solid line on the actual air cell, then a dotted line on the saddled part, to monitor it. You could try it if you want. Best of luck with the hatch!

As to their volume - I agree with @HeatherKellyB , mine are usually only loud for a reason, they aren't loud constantly. My pekin girl was super-loud ALL THE TIME! The calls can be loud, but the overall volume is much less, in my opinion. Kinda like a bantam rooster's crow vs. a full sized rooster's crow.

This might give you a little sampling. :D
Thank you!
The sound to the video isn’t working :( Your call ducks are so cute though!!!

Check the speaker-looking icon when you click play. You may have to remove the slash for the sound to play. Or maybe just turn up your speaker or phone volume.

i can’t tell from the pic, does the saddled egg show veins like the first two pics? Those 2 look fabulous. The main air cell in #3 should be down in your hand, and the saddles appear to be on both sides. Sometimes eggs only get saddled one direction, sometimes an air pocket will fully float around the egg. Totally loose and detached air cells are the worst.

No, there’s no vain at the bottom of egg 3!

If you don’t see any veins, then it probably isn’t developing, but give it a few more days.
I candled all 3 of the eggs today and they have movement! I’ll probably keep a very close eye on that one though! I’m not to sure if it will make it to hatching day... do you think it has a chance of hatching?
Great! Aren’t they funny? Lol
Yes! The are very funny!!! I do can’t wait for mine to hatch!! Is there anything that I should know about the call ducks?

That video is my FAVORITE video! My daughter and I watch and listen to it so often, especially before my Calls started quacking. I want a big flock like that having quack competitions 😍@WVduckchick Don't you have more Calls now than you had whenever you made that video? We need more quack fest videos, pretty please! I need to go and watch it again now, just to finish my night in a fun way 💜
