oh I am just GREEN with envy. My BOs are 22 weeks now and still nothing. My kids run to the coop AT LEAST twice a day, sometimes more, looking for eggs. We've taken to calling the hens "the freeloaders." Spoiled little girls. Seems like they're never going to lay.

Aren't those Buff Orps wonderful with kids? I just love mine.

Thanks yet again everyone!! I just love the buff too. We also have a wonderful dark brahma who is my daughters. Great birds all around! No egg yesterday although she looked like she was sure trying in her little nesting box. Hopefully today.
