Yes they do, i had a sand flea problem for years in my horse barn,i got guineas and the next year i had no more problem with fleas, but i have heard they are bad in other areas around here so i can only think of one reason they are no longer bad here"Guineas' they love dust bathing in that barn as do my chickens.
