Do You Believe in Ghosts?

I used this tactic on a similar thread a few months back to make those who believe in ghosts look silly. It was actually quite successful. I have precisely the same amount of evidence for that clearly ridiculous post as the rest of the posters have for ghosts. I'm sorry to be this blunt, but I couldn't be so cruel as to keep this joke going. I do believe in the supernatural, but it is limited to angels, demons, and God. I am a Christian, and the Bible is quite explicit as to where the soul goes after death. Ghosts are mental phenomena, a simple hallucination. Extreme cases, however, could be demons appearing to be relatives or other people, one of Satan's tactics to divert people from the Truth. To those who are dissappointed that their relatives are not still "with them," all I have to say is this. Death is not the end. The soul remains alive for all of eternity, either in paradise or a living death.

Mods, I know this post is rather religious, but give me a break. People are on here talking about other supernatural things they believe in.

You said that you weren't a Christian on the nonreligious thread.

Because most people on this thread knew that you were joking, I don't see the point that you made.

My best friend that used to go to school with me was a big science nerd (he wasnt really a nerd). He didnt even believe in Global Warming. He would tell me I wasnt a Christian because I belived in Ghosts, yada yada. One time we were riding bikes on this little dirt road and saw this little outhouse. It had always been there, but this was the first time we paid it any attention. Because he didnt believe in Ghosts , He wants me too wach him go inside it, just to prove it. He walked in, and there was this awlful screaching noise, and the door closed extremely fast. He couldnt open the door for a second because the wood was old and was pushed in to hard. He carried on like a Cherokee in a Quaker Meeting tryin to get out. It was actually quite funny. When he got out I noticed he had wet himself. I didnt say anything.

...What the crap? I never said I wasn't a Christian. I have been a Christian since I was 5 or so. Been arguing for Christianity for the past few years on various forums and such.

You are entitled to believe what ever you want to believe in, but posting fake experiences to bait others whom you think are wrong for having their own beliefs/experiences, denotes an insecurity with the matter on your part.

Actually, using logic to argue against the existence of ghost might have been interesting. Trying to trick everyone-especially in a obvious fashion- is a bit insulting.
