Do you crochet or knit?

I learned C2C crocheting and I’m making this blanket for my daughter.

Edited to upload the right picture. Stupid touch phone!

It is very awkward at first, especially if you have arthritic hands. I also have arthritis in my hands and wrists.

That is exactly why I prefer knitting its not as painful on my hands as crocheting is. My mom tried to teach me to crochet but my hands just couldn't handle it. So one day I bought one of those "Taught myself to Knit" starter kits from wal-mart and been knitting since.

Have a lot of unfinished projects like a sweater with only half of A sleeve and the mermaid blanket that I am currently working on for my daughter

I first tought myself how to knit, then my aunt gave me crochet hooks but I am struggling with that. A few days ago we picked up a look lit and I love it, wish I got it sooner lol

I'm a longtime crocheter! Been crocheting for around 16 years now, and am working on a number of projects! I knit a bit and even Tunisian crochet. However, my current projects include, but not limited to, a scarf, a giraffe amigurumi style, a glove, a blanket, and a few other small things, Haha!

I've been crocheting for nearly 10 years but very sporadically as life has been busy with 5 years of study, working, 3 kids etc! I was at uni when I started and it got me through the stressful exams / assignments periods as I was able to shut out all that stuff to concentrate. Also taught myself to continental knit around that time as there was some patterns on Rav I wanted to try! Been so long now though I'll have to relearn the knitting!
Current work in progress projects include a ripple blanket (started Sep 2013 :lauand so nearly finished but not touched since about '14!), a granny square blanket with lots of cool flower details (some 3D) and a tiny baby blanket for my neice (who is now pushing 4 so will convert to a pillow :lau). I think there also a couple of half finished hats and at least 1 pair of slippers :lau I'm hopeless!

My sons 'Mummy love' blankie - I made this during my pregnancy (which was a bit scary at high risk so a lot of hope was going in at some points!):
