Do you find it hard to eat your eggs???

I no this might seem silly but when i think about eating my eggs (my chicken has just started laying)
I feel weird !! I have been buying eggs from a lady down the road and I don't think twice about eating them
but now that I have a few of my own I haven't even been able to bring myself to eat one yet. I can't really explain
why i feel this way, I guess with incubating and raising them and all I feel like I am killing babies or something???
I am sure that this feeling will pass and like I said I don't really no why I feel like this........
I no it sounds strange. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Lemme tell ya, one bite and whatever weird feeling you have will be gone!! I still cannot believe I existed for 34 years without fresh eggs!! lol You'll be fine, I always tell my girls thank you for your eggs! My dh had a good chuckle over that the first time he heard me say that to them, but a few months later and I still say it, and mean it!! He thinks it's so cute.....

I bake quiche with my duck and quail eggs. I don't feel funny, I feel FULL

I get ya. It took me a couple weeks before I got over it. I don't know what I was expecting. Turned out I was just a head case. Now 7 years later no problem.
