Do you help calls hatch?

I don't recommend helping any bird hatch. Nature's plan is for them to hatch on their own. If they can't there's a reason. They are weak or defective in some way & IMO that's not something I want to pass along.

I don't think it has to do with bill softness...more with bill roundness. The guy I helped out of his shell had a plenty hard bill, I used it to help his head out with no problems. But his bill is much rounder than the guy who zipped himself.
