Do you keep CD's in your car?

Well, I haven't decided if its cool yet or not. Today was my first day of school. It is more relaxing to listen to your own music and just relax, and you feel better when you get there. The people at my school are notoriuos for accidents though, and my car is a 1997 Ford Aspire, which is tiny and mostly made of plastic. Not a good thing in a collision. It looks like this for those who don't know what they look like:

That' a pic from the internet, mine is in a little better condition. It was wrecked down the side at one point, but it was fixed very well, and only has 120,000 miles on it.

I ruined a bunch of cd's with a visor holder. I had the window cracked open and we had a bad dirt storm and the holder got full of gritty sand and ruined all the cd's in the holder. I haven't used one since.

I'm an auto damage appraiser. It's amazing how many jerks will break your window out to grab a few CD's. Keep them hidden and turn your radio sown a couple blocks before you park anywhere.

Hmmm, that's puzzling. I've never had any problem of any sort with mine. But then, I keep my windows and doors closed as a general precaution.

I'm kinda wondering if your situation maybe had something to do with the window being open during a dust storm?...

Well, it seems like the general consensus is a zippered pouch hidden under the seat. Guess I'm making a trip to the Dollar Tree this weekend. You can get one there for a buck! Gotta love the Dollar Tree.
