lol. Me 2! I never thought chickens were this great! And yes. I was worrying for the seven minutes before someone posted if I was alone... and a freak. Now I know anyone with a laying chicken and a heart loves chickens!

Only one or two, on the back of the head. I give them lots of hugs and cuddles, when they're in the mood. I also tell them they're good chickens and thank them when I take the eggs. If I catch one "in the act" of laying, I give her extra rewards, like an immediate yummy before she even finishes the egg song.

I have come close because I just love my girls.Usually though I give them a big hug and pet their heads telling them how happy they make me.It is weird but when I watch them I feel like I get a dose of calming hormones coursing through me.
